My name is Anthony and I love learning!! I have been tutoring elementary & high school students for a little over a year now. My specific areas of tutoring are English, Computer Science and most recently, sports recreation. Two years ago, I graduated from Cal-State University Los Angeles with a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. I have worked for big companies in California, such as Yahoo!, Best Buy & Universal Studios Hollywood. On my free time I enjoy many indoor & outdoor activities, such as Chess, Football, Basketball & Martial Arts.
English was one of my stronger subjects in college. Specifically, in essay writing and speech.
Graduated with a bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from Cal-State University Los Angeles in California.
I have over 15 years experience playing chess. I won several amateur tournaments when I was in high school. Two and half years ago I began training in the marital art known as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I obtained by blue belt in jiu-jitsu at the Hollywood BJJ academy in California. I am currently still taking classes.
Let's not beat around the bush! Bottom line, learning can be difficult and boring. However, I believe there are people like myself who can make the "difficult" become easy and the "boring," become FUN! I encourage you to contact me and schedule a lesson. Thanks :-) Hello,

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
