Hello! I enjoy engagement with students to develop their competence and help them achieve their goals. I view my role as coach, mentor and teacher.
My tutorial/teaching experience includes seven years as Adjunct/Part-Time Faculty at a University Business School in the areas of undergraduate Entrepreneurship, Finance and Management. I have also co-taught a graduate business-related course in the School of Law. Tutorial-specific experience includes my fellow MBA students in accounting at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas, and accounting and other subjects with a US national living in Prague, Czech Republic who was a student in Thunderbird's Executive MBA Program.
Professionally, I am a Certified Public Accountant in the States of Nevada and Maryland. While working for a former public accounting employer, we hired and trained former Accounting Major students of mine; I am pleased to report that as graduates they are all doing well in their respective career paths - one is actually now a junior partner at that firm. My industry experience includes banking, new ventures and consulting, among others. I am a founder of my own consulting firm.
Aside from the business subjects, I am able to assist with English-language grammar, spelling, proofreading and vocabulary in business and academic papers, for example. As someone who has lived and worked outside the US for six years, I can also assist with geography.
My hobbies include hiking, running, other outdoor activities and community involvement. Hello! I enjoy engagement with students to develop their competence and help them achieve their goals. I view my role as coach, mentor and teacher.

Dave helped me with finance. He was very helpful and clear because he has taught the same class in the past. Highly recommended!!
Dave did a great job on our first lesson, he is patient and listens to my questions for a clear understanding of the subject matter. Will use Dave for future studies.
Dave did an excellent job in helping me in my EGG307 (engineering economics) course. Although it was a bit different than his traditional finance teachings, he was able to cipher through it and help me understand it. He's very patient and available in flexible scheduling. I was able to meet as many times as I needed in preparation for my exams. He was able to help me improve my exam grades by 22%. Highly recommend, Dave, for financing!
