Hello! :-)

My name is Christelle, and I'm a 21 year old pre-med Honors student with a passion for science, English, and French. I have over 200+ hours tutoring students and have found great success with those ranging from middle school to college-age, as well as non-traditional students.

I find joy in motivating fellow students with the skills and knowledge that they need in order to excel in their courses. I understand first-hand how difficult and frustrating it can be to not understand the material the first time around, so I'm completely motivated to help other students overcome their academic struggles. I have a bunch of practice exams and tips that I have created to help build students' confidence and gain momentum towards academic excellence.

I have taken mathematics courses due to my biochemistry degree. I completed all my college math courses (Pre-Calculus II, Calculus I, and Calculus II) with high scores, finishing with an average GPA of 3.4. I've been a math tutor for the past six months for courses such as Algebra I and II and Pre-Calculus. I use good examples from my past exams to help students learn hard concepts and find confidence with the more practice they have.

I am currently finishing a degree in French studies, with a GPA of 3.9. I have excelled in courses such as Intermediate French I and II, Composition and Conversation I and II, and French Grammar. I have been perfecting my French since 2015 and now have the ability to aid those looking to start their journey in learning conversational French. Through my travels to Brussels, Belgium, I have had the chance to work with other French tutors and gain the ability to teach phrases typically used by other young adults, which can help students assimilate better and relate with French speakers.

I took the ACT in 2018 and scored a 33 in the Reading component as well as a 28 in the English component. I have tutored multiple students in preparation for the ACT and they came back with successful scores as well as college acceptances.
