I have taught grades K-5. I have tutored students K-12 and one college level student with an algebra entrance exam. I prefer to tutor in mathematics as it is my favorite subject but am willing to tutor in all subjects K-5.

It is my favorite subject. I have always excelled in it. I have attended special professional developments and sought out resources to help me help my students. I have even served as math chair and math intermediate PLC representative at my previous work site; these positions have allowed me the opportunity to further develop my skills, attend more trainings as well as work with superb master teachers.
I am licensed to teach in Nevada and California. I recently received an endorsement in administration in the state of Nevada. I enjoy meeting at the library. It is air-conditioned. I live close to three of them. I also enjoy reading or getting a coffee before and after my tutoring sessions. I have taught grades K-5. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
