Experts say that whatever you played as a child, is your passion to do as an adult. I was a teacher to my un-expecting little brother as a kid. Poor little guy was stuck learning how to write his name before he turned two! I have tutored many different subjects from English, math, science and computer skills to individuals and small groups since 1993. I have been told that patience and great listening are my strongest teaching traits. I not only have my Master certification from Microsoft, but have many years office experience working with the Microsoft products in the real world.

I have been an Adult School Computer teacher for 3 years. My computer lab taught everything from computer and internet basics to advanced Excel and Access. My goal is always to cater lesson plans toward the individual's needs and teach skills, not academic jargon. My favorite sessions are when students are able to gain enough confidence in their computer skills to even affect their overall self-confidence at home, in job search or their workplace. My passion is for my community and the individual success of its members.

Familiar with teaching in English and Spanish, I have many years education and experience determining students' learning style and molding my teaching style accordingly. My pleasant disposition, endless patience, and experience in identifying students' trouble spots make me an excellent choice for your tutoring needs.
