Teaching students has not brought me great wealth financially yet I have earned satisfaction in myself emotionally and spiritually. When I help a student it makes my day and I am complete. It is what I do, and I do it with the intent to be no less than the best I can be for both myself and my student.
I have an MEd and a degree in Information Technology from University of Phoenix. I am a former Princeton Review teacher teaching both the ACT and the SAT through their services. I have gone on to teach test prep and college readiness in our local high schools in El Paso, TX, and was privileged to have the school district request that I write the curriculum for the program. After teaching this topic for five years I moved on to become a middle school math teacher, teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math.
I have taught thousands of students. Students from different backgrounds, race, age, economic status, and of all different abilities. I have experience teaching full classes, small groups, and one-on-one tutoring, in both live classrooms, as well as online formats.
