To whom it may concern,

To whom it may concern,

There are few things in life that I would say I am passionate about, but I can say without reservation that I am passionate about mathematics and helping others. It is this passion that I feel makes me an excellent tutor.

For as long as I can remember, I have had an aptitude for math. It is this ability that fueled my desire to excel in the subject. It was this desire that lead me to learn the deep ins and outs, the whys of math. It was my love of math that helped me decide to study engineering in college (as a side note, I received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University - Idaho, have completed a master's degree in nuclear engineering at Texas A&M, and have just begun a doctoral program at Brigham Young University). I feel that my extensive knowledge allows me to explain things from many different angles as needed.

I also enjoy helping others. There are few things in life that bring me the same joy and satisfaction that I feel as when I help someone understand something new. During my time as a student at BYU-I, I worked as a math tutor for the university. I believe it was my love of helping others that allowed me to always be happy to go to work.

I thank you for taking the time to read this and hope that I can fill your need for a tutor.

Sincerely,
Todd W.
