Dear potential students and parents,
Let me introduce myself as Latha, hailing from India; currently a U.S. Citizen for several years. I have a BSc degree in Microbiology & Post Graduate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, both from India. In addition to this, I have a Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
I have tutored students’ part time and have always been able to help them understand the concept of any portion that’s difficult to them. My teaching style is directed at each individual because I feel the best way to assist students is to tailor a teaching plan specific to their needs.
I strongly believe that "Learning is a never-ending process". To make learning interesting, I would like to make an attempt to incorporate learning in students as a part of their activities in lives, and not to approach learning as a task. I plan to achieve this by studying what technique motivates them, thereby keeping them engrossed in any field they undertake.
I also believe that “Confidence is the key in learning”. Initially, I would welcome the opportunity for one-on-one instruction and based on this, I plan to step up to additional tutoring, also, with one-on-one instruction. I enjoy working with students and parent in designing individual lessons to assist children in developing optimal learning and self-confidence that lead to independence in acquiring knowledge. I would also be providing constant feedback to prospective parents of students; so as to also keep them in the loop; during a feedback session.
I believe that “Education is and will always be a lifelong asset”. I do my best to get to know each of my students and am appreciative and understanding of different cultural and academic backgrounds. I believe that “Correct communication is the foundation of learning”. Finally, I enjoy working with students at different levels and feel like my education can serve to advance their learning and integrate my learning to help them with their future education needs.
I look forward to teaching! Dear potential students and parents,

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Since 2013 Fall, I am enrolled in the NMSU Bachelor of Studio Arts and I am currently a Sophomore. Drawing has been very good & I also enjoy drawing.
