NEW TO NEW MEXICO, I AM MOST INTERESTED IN SUMMER TUTORING...With 13 years experience teaching on an elementary level (lst, 4th, 5th grades - in all subjects), I have been very successful in turning around students who have lost their desire to learn because of repeated failures in school. I teach using games and fun activities, not just drill and practice. Children want to learn and it should be a fun activity! Due to my years at several grades levels I can assist beginning readers with decoding and phonics, as well as math, science, language arts, and creative writing. I also teach Public Speaking on a college level, and can assist in the preparation and practice of speeches and interviews.
