I have been working with children in multiple ways for more then 5 years. I started volunteering with autistic children 10 years ago and absolutely fell in love with helping all children in any way that I could. I especially like working with children from the ages of 3-8, but I have experience working with children as old as 14. I like working with the children one on one when I am tutoring them and enjoy making curriculum to meet their needs. Whether their needs are educational or behavioral. I have been trained in both subjects. I have been a substitute teacher for many different schools in Albuquerque and have learned a lot of classroom management techniques. I know having this knowledge will also help out your child.
I am currently working as an educational assistant in a kindergarten class am going back to school to complete my degree in rehabilitation services. With my previous experience of working in a private clinic, being a nanny for autistic children, and working in a classroom, I know this will help your child succeeded and become a better student. I have attended main trainings on fine motor skills and with the techniques I have learned I know I will be able to help your child. I have worked with children on the autism spectrum for over 4 years. I have had many years of training and worked for a private Autism clinic for a year and a half. I know with my knowledge and experience I look forward to helping your child and family. Thank you for viewing my profile! I truly love working with children and love seeing them make progress and understand concepts and ideas that they did not in the past. I also think setting a child up for success is so important. Learning their behaviors and learning how to prevent them will be one of my top priorities. This will help the child function better on a daily basis. I look forward to speaking with you and trying to help your child in any way possible. I have been working with children in multiple ways for more then 5 years. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
