Elementary (K-6th)

I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education with Endorsements in TESOL, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and Social Studies. I have an addition 21 credit hours towards an Educational Diagnostician Program from the University of New Mexico. This is the University which I obtained all my degrees and endorsements and I graduated with honors with all of my degrees.

Phonics

I have over 10 years of teaching experience working with Elementary Ed students and I have specialized in teaching phonics as a classroom teacher. I have training in Visual Phonics which helps children learn to recognize the letter, sound of letter(s) and sign it to make the connection. In addition to that I have training on Word Families and the connection they make to onsets and rhymes. I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education with Endorsements in TESOL, Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages and Social Studies. I graduated with honors with all my degrees obtained from the University of New Mexico.

Social Studies

I completed a Master's Degree in Elementary Education with a specialized endorsement in Social Studies. I completed the endorsement at the University of New Mexico. I am a licensed teacher certified to teach social studies for grades 6 through 8.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

I am a certified Elementary Teacher with a Masters Degree in Education. I have over 8 years of experience working with children that have special needs. I have 21 post graduate credit hours towards a PhD in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism. I used differential instructional strategies to help children meet their educational goals written in their Individual Educational Plan. I provide a hands-on minds-on phonics, writing and reading program.

Dyslexia

I am a certified Elementary Teacher with a Masters Degree in Education. I have over eight years of teaching and tutoring experience working with children that have dyslexia. I have over 21 post graduate level courses in the study of Special Education. I provide children with a hands-on minds-on curriculum to improve their phonics, reading and writing skills.

Throughout the years working with children I have used differentiated instructional strategies to help my students make progress.
