I love to teach and I love teaching children, young people, or adults. The greatest enjoyment I receive is when I see the progress students make from day to day or week to week. When I finally see the results at the end of the road, it gives me great satisfaction to know that I have helped someone get further ahead in their studies.
I have spent most of my life either teaching or tutoring various subjects. I have tutored children, youth and adults. I can't say which ones I enjoy the most as I enjoy them all. My methods for tutoring, first of all is determining the academic level of each student. After I have assessed his/her level, then I start at the level they are in and proceed from there. After going over the parts of speech and grammar, then we write, speak, listen. We spend lots of time practicing. I use

If I have a group, the price goes down for each student.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Grammar is one of my strong points. I love grammar because when you learn grammar, then you can create beautiful sentences and be understood by those who read your writings or by those who listen to you speak. Since I speak several language, I have made it a point to get good at grammar, not to mention that I love grammar and love to teach it.

Proofreading is good knowledge to have. If you need to write a term paper or edit something, knowledge of proofreading is important.
Understanding what you read is important. Vocabulary building is a great place to start to build your reading skills. Learning to spell correctly is another skill that is to be mastered in order to read and understand what you are reading.
I have taught Spanish - all levels and conversational - mid school, high school and college levels. I have a minor in Spanish from my undergraduate degree.
I have always been a good speller. I have taught spelling to children in the past. I have had jobs where spelling is important such as transcription, both medical and regular typing. This is where you hear the words and you type them and they have to be spelled correctly.
Having an extensive vocabulary and learning the definitions of words should be a goal that everyone should aim for.
