TEAS

I have eighteen years of experience as a high school math and science teacher. During that time, I taught for one year at an international school in Egypt, taught for two years in Guyana, South America as a Peace Corps Volunteer and spent the rest of my career in teaching assignments at native American high schools operated by the Bureau of Indian Education. I have an excellent understanding of the topics found in the TEAS and HESI Tests. These topics include: chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology, general science, math and algebra. I have a passable knowledge of English grammar, sentence structure, and vocabulary and can provide many useful tips on how to excel in your reading test. More importantly, I know how to teach these topics so that you will understand them well enough to get a good score your test. I acquired this knowledge while earning my Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Masters Degree in Social Work and my teaching credentials. I currently hold an active state teaching license. I have tutored about fifty students and about 90 percent of them either obtained a test score equal to or above that required by their school or have retaken the test for a second time and obtained the needed score.
