I have taught at the elementary, high-school, college, and graduate levels, and have successfully tutored students of all ages/levels for 30+ years. I've taught in public and private, religious and secular schools. I love the material that I teach, and students usually find that my enthusiasm is contagious!

I have taught ESL overseas and in the US. Additionally, I have taught in English in three different countries, and learned how to speak English effectively to foreign students from every conceivable part of the world.

I've taught both classical and ecclesiastical Latin, and classical/biblical Greek, to students ranging in age from 9 to 70+, in both the classroom and in private settings. My tutored students who were then required by their schools to take a proficiency exam in Latin or Greek have passed it 100% of the time.

Not only have I studied, written about, and taught western history, but for many years I taught in Europe and routinely took my students to visit historic sites. Accounts of my personal experiences, my own photos, etc., make history (particularly ancient history) come alive for my students!
I am a well known, published author in the field of theology and have taught both Scripture and ethics for years.

My students routinely tell me how interesting my lessons are, and they enjoy my sense of humor too. I often have to point out to students that it's time to go--because they've become so engrossed that they don't realize that the time has flown by!
