I have been a teacher for over 20 years. I have taught preschool to 5th grade. Most of my teaching experience has been working with special education students. I have taught students of various ages and abilities. I have taught all elementary school subjects.

I have experience tutoring over the past few years with other tutoring services and personal tutoring. I am currently teaching full time and would only be available evenings and weekends. After June 15, I will be available Monday -Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM and Saturday 9:00AM to 12:00PM. I charge $40 per hour.

I enjoy working one-on-one with students and watching them succeed and gain confidence in their academic abilities.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you and working with your child.

I have been teaching math, mostly 3rd through 5th grade, for the past 12 years. I have worked with special Education students as well as in class support with regular education students.

I have taught Reading in an Elementary School setting for 13 years. I taught pre-Reading to 5th grade levels. All of my teaching has been with special education students. I have taught Reading, Phonics, Grammar, and Writing skills.

Over my teaching career I have taught students with various disabilities and academic levels. Many of my students have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, Autism, Aspergers, Visually Impaired, OCD, Multiplied Disabled, and Mild Cognitive Impairment. Each student is unique and may learn differently. As a teacher I need to assess the best learning style for my students.

I enjoy working with students one-on-one. You really get to know that student. I try to find fun and interesting activities to make the tutoring session fun.

I have worked in Special Education for 20 years. I have had many students who were classified as ADD/ADHD. These students have a short attention spa and need to move around more. The tutoring session should be broken down into short lessons with small breaks in between.
