Tammy responded to my request for her to tutor my daughter in Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology. She was very punctual and met with my daughter for two hours on her first visit. My daughter told me that she was very easy to work with and the tutoring session went very well! I would definitely recommend Tammy for tutoring others. Thanks.
Tammy has a wealth of information in regards to the NCLEX RN exam. She was very helpful and knowledgeable in test taking skills. Tammy was well versed in answering my nursing questions. She challenged me to think in another manner when answering nursing questions. I look forward to working with Tammy to assist me with successfully passing the RN NCLEX exam.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am able to tutor nursing students in microbilogoy(theory not lab). Topics would be related to illness/disease from a nursing point of view.
I have successfully passed both the NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN on the first attempt. I am currently an LPN instructor who is responsible for getting my students ready for the NCLEX. I can also teach test taking skills. I have plenty of resources for preparing for the NCLEX.
12 years expereince in nursing. My experience ranges from long-term care, med-surg, and sub-acute short term rehab in either the role of a floor nurse or charge nurse. I have been an LPN instructor for the past two years. I lecture on all nursing topics: A&P, Fundamentals, Mental Health, Maternity, Pediatrics, Med-Surg, Pharmacology, Nutriton, and dosage calculations.
I am able to tutor nursing students in nutrition related to diseases and conditions in health. The nutrition lessons would focus on diet therapy, nursing interventions, and patient education considering appropriate food choices. How nutrition can effect health will also be discussed. Diet can be broken down by body systems for a better understanding.
As part of being an LPN instructor, I am responsible for teaching introduction to pharmacology. I teach all classifications of drugs according to body systems. I have studied pharmacology at Rutgers University.
