I hold two Bachelor's Degrees: one in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University and the second in Land Surveying Science from NJIT. I enjoy connecting with the students to help them with difficulty they are having with math or science. I truly enjoy seeing the light bulb go on over their heads when we are able to make a breakthrough. Over the past few years, I have tutored students within WMTPS and the Kinnelon school system. I taught mathematics at Palm Beach Community College where I also privately tutored students as well. I look forward to helping you to reach higher educational levels in math and science.

Joseph is very patient and is able to tackle a problem in various ways in order for my daughter to fully understand the process of solving her Trig problems. I finally see a smile on her face when she speaks about her math class!
Joseph was very helpful in explaining rates of change and how to tackle these types of problems in a clear, concise and organized manor. A great tutor. Thank you for your help!
Joe's first tutoring session with my son was a complete success; my son actually wanted to do some more math problems afterwards! We couldn't be happier!
My son really enjoyed Joe! He said Joe was great and helped him understand math concepts better. I would recommend him to anyone preparing for the SATs.
Joseph answered my initial email quickly and was able to schedule time for me on short notice. He went out of his way to come to my house and also stayed very late which was incredibly gracious of him. He helped me thoroughly with my midterm review and was patient and helpful throughout the lesson. Would definitely recommend him.
Joe has really helped in reaching the objectives set. I would continue to recommend Joe to anyone that needs Math assistance.
Joseph is a phenomenal tutor. My daughter has had numerous calculus lessons with him and he has been extremely patient and dedicated. His method of teaching goes above and beyond by clearly writing and explaining each step of the problem. His willingness to help and be accessible should questions arise has been invaluable. Highly recommended.
Joseph is an excellent tutor. He is extremely helpful and very thorough. He helped me understand integration twice as well as my college professor. He showed me a different way to solve Integration by substitution which was a lot easier than the way I was taught. Joseph has provided me with a better understanding of Calculus and has given me the confidence to move onto Calculus II. I would highly recommend him as a tutor.
Joseph is an excellent tutor! He helped me tremendously by working through tons of problems step by step and writing explanations for each one next to the work. It helped me understand why we took the steps we did, while also giving me something I can study at home to help reinforce the material. Trust me, the textbooks are NOT that easy to understand. He was also willing to work late (class ended at 8pm) and was always on time. Very patient & easygoing. Highly recommended.
Joe immediately put my daughter at ease and went completely out of his way to help her with pre-calculus. She hates math and he has made it much less painful:)
We have been using Joseph since October 2010 to help my high school daughter with Calculus. The subject is not easy, let alone finding a tutor who can explain the material well. After few tries, we finally found Joseph - he is God send!
Very knowledgeable, patient and has helped my daughter tremendously, she now understands what is going on in the class and was able to bring her grade from failing to passing, all with Joseph's help.
I HIGHLY recommend this tutor!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
BS in mathematics.
