Hi, I’m Bria! I’m a recent high school senior graduate preparing to attend Drexel University for Environmental Engineering in fall 2019. I graduated high school as a member of the National Honor Society, constantly being recognized for my outstanding academic achievement. Hi, I’m Bria! I’m a recent high school senior graduate preparing to attend Drexel University for Environmental Engineering in fall 2019. I graduated high school as a member of the National Honor Society, constantly being recognized for my outstanding academic achievement. If you don’t know, in order to be a member of NHS you must have at least a 3.5 GPA which I succeed. My cumulative GPA in just math alone is a 3.0. Throughout my years in school, I’ve always taken an honors math class from the time honors classes became available to me. As an aspiring engineer, ice always taken rigorous math and science courses, so I am highly capable of being a math or science tutor. I have experience in various science topics and math courses.

In this past year, I began tutoring kids in courses that ranged from elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra I, and algebra II. The ages of students I've tutored ranged from 12 years old to 16 years old. I have experience with children of different ages and background. I've even tutored children who had different forms of behavior issues.

I would find the students weaknesses and work with the student to help them become a better student. After the first lesson, I would challenge the student to be the teacher and teach me what I taught them. I would use this tactic to assess whether or not they truly understand the material being taught. I very much enjoy doing interactive lessons with students, so they find pleasure in what they are learning. In my past tutoring experiences, I’ve helped students go from an F to a B. While helping them boost their grades, I helped them boost their confidence in school. To me, the most important thing about learning is being confident in what you are doing. I have a passion for helping others, and I'm very patient while doing so. My number one priority as your tutor is to make sure I do my very best to help you understand what you're learning.
