Recent graduate art historian specializing in Medieval Art, History and Literature. In addition, extremely knowledgeable about various periods of the history of art. I received my BA from Drew University in Art History and Arts Administration in 2008, in which I also tutored AP Art History and college students taking classes in the history of art. Upon completion of my BA, I graduated with high honors and went on to pursue work at various museums in NYC.
I recently completed my MA at the University of York in York, UK in which I also graduated with high honors. During that time, one of my essays was published in a graduate journal, Hortulus. Recently I gave a seminar at the Morbid Anatomy Museum concerning my dissertation on optical theories and death in the High Middle Ages. I am an experienced tutor and love sharing my passion for art history. I have tutored in person and via Skype and email. I can summarize readings, help with essay preparation, editing, and studying techniques. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have an MA in Art History from the University of York in York, UK. My BA is from Drew University in which I also received high honors in Art History. I have tutored college students in Art History and students studying for the AP Art History exam. In addition, I am academically published in this field.
