Hello everyone. My name is Erik and I am an ESL tutor. My qualifications include spending two and a half years abroad teaching English in Taiwan as well receiving my CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). I received a Pass A on my course, only 2% of candidates receive that each year.
I am including the candidate report provided by my CELTA course tutors on my certificate.
"Erik has made excellent progress with planning and delivering both language and skills lessons on the course. His level of awareness in terms of lessons structures and sequencing has been consistently good, as well as his ability to deliver lessons in terms of teaching skills. Erik is already an effective, competent and motivating teacher and he would be a valuable member of staff."
I am down to earth and ready to help you improve your English. Either through grammar and practice, or conversation and communication. I enjoy what I do and am ready to help you work to reach your goals with your English.
Please feel free to contact me and ask me any more questions.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
