I'm a senior university researcher with more than 15 years of experience. I hold a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Delaware and two master's degrees from Rutgers University (applied statistics and applied resource economics). Among my peers, I am considered an expert in statistical design and analysis, SAS statistical software, categorical data analysis, multivariate analysis, linear and non-linear regression, logistic regression and more.
As part of my current job, I train graduate students in economic research methods. I am an enthusiastic tutor in college level statistics. I am also available to teach AP statistics, business, and economics to high school students. I'm a senior university researcher with more than 15 years of experience. Kevin was great while explaining the statistics concepts I had questions about. He was very knowledgeable. Kevin reviewed my homework with me and helped me to understand what needed to be corrected and explained why.
Very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. He is thoroughly prepared and will ask in advance to review your work/notes. He is always on time and can break down hard concepts into easy ones. I recommend him to all!
Kevin was extremely helpful in clarifying statistical information in an understandable manner. He listened carefully to my questions, and was able to apply his knowledge to my particular needs. He used the time we worked together effectively and efficiently.
Kevin was great. He made me feel as if I may actually pass this class! He was well prepared and had reviewed my course material before we even met. I would definitely recommend him.
Kevin is helping me survive the last research course in my doctoral program. I would highly recommend him for statistics and research help!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I've taken 3 courses in econometrics (1 undergraduate course and 2 graduate courses). As a 15 year research analyst, I'm considered an expert in econometric analysis by my colleagues. I'm experienced in numerous types of econometric modeling, including multivariate regression. logistic regression, proportional hazard modeling, generalized linear models, and non-linear modeling. In addition, I'm proficient in SAS programming for statistics and econometric modeling.
