Hi! My name is Sarah. I graduated from Rider University with a degree in Art and Psychology. I have 3+ years experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum. I have given private art lessons as well as worked as a behavioral therapist.
I love working with children and showing them a whole new way to express themselves through art. I'm experienced with a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, pastel, and clay. I've also been in a few gallery shows at Rider University.
I have a soon-to-be 6 month old daughter, however, I'm very flexible when it comes to scheduling lessons! All I ask is if there are any cancellations they be at least 2 hours before the scheduled time so there's not a mess with the babysitter!
I am able to give lessons out of my home or come to you!
I look forward to nurturing a love of art and creativity!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I graduated from Rider University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts. I have given private art lessons for the past 3+ years and have been an avid artist since I was young. My method of teaching is based on the interests and abilities of my student. I'll refine and create specific lessons that cater to the individual student.
