Bio

Creative engineering is the way I describe the work I do. Composing poetic sequences in people's minds. Both word and image are tools I employ to provoke reflection. Through the discipline of a monthly newspaper column, "Drawing on the Arts" I explore various ways of enjoying this life we share. On screen, in the Cinema Poems I produce with fellow professionals, we create moments to inspire others to a new insight.

Through the discipline of a monthly newspaper column, "Drawing on the Arts" I explore various ways of enjoying this life we share. On screen, in the Cinema Poems I produce with fellow professionals, we create moments to inspire others to a new insight.

I have had the privilege of teaching Creative Arts and Technology, Cinema, Poetry, and Drawing in university environments lecturing on film and art. I love meeting more of myself in the people I teach. I love listening closely. I love recognizing the solutions inherent in every problem a student wants to study with me!

I am currently studying theology in French. I am an avid reader. I write a monthly newspaper column, "Drawing on the Arts". My poetry and short stories have been published.

I hold a Mastère in Fine Art and Digital Art from the école des Beaux Arts in Rennes, France. I did graduate work in color theory at the New School for Social Research University in New York City. I continue to create Cinema Poems and my short film "Rest Stop" won the screen writing award at the Toronto Worldwide Short Film Festival. I was the first director to implement the PAWS camera array a special effect used in the Matrix films which I employed in a cinema poem titled "Time suspended"

It is always a pleasure to meet new people and collaborate on the creative engineering necessary to fulfill your learning goals and, most important enjoy the process! I look forward to hearing from you.
