I am a recent graduate from Biotechnology High School and will be attending the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University, majoring in Biology and Society, a pre-law/ pre-med interdisciplinary coarse. My past work history includes working at The Holmdel Acupuncture Clinic as an office assistant and working at Navesink River Rowing as a rowing coach. Currently, I spend my time volunteering at Clean Ocean Action, an environmental protection coalition, and Marty's Place, a senior dog shelter and sanctuary.
At Biotech, I have been a peer tutor in Spanish for three years and a peer tutor in Biology for two. Working hands on with children is something I'm very passionate about. It stems from my love of Sciences that I have had since I was little.
I have completed Algebra 1 and 2, Pre- Calc Honors, IB Calculus, and IB Statistics.
I have taken Biology Honors and Chemistry for two years and IB Biology High Level and IB Chemistry High Level for two years. Other classes include: Research, Biotech Lab Skills, Neuro, Biobusiness, Bioethics, Agricultural and Industrial Biotech, and Environmental Biology. I have recieved an 800 (perfect score) on the SAT 2 for Molecular Biology.
I have taken Spanish 1, 2, 3,IB Spanish, and AP Spanish 5. I plan on minoring in Spanish.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
