Hello! My name is Syed Zeeshan, but you can call me Zeeshan. I am currently an undergraduate studying Communications and Media at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. I have more than 5 years of programming experience, as I went to a high school that specializes in computer and information sciences. I am proficient in intermediate Java and beginner Python, as well as beginner CSS and HTML. I have 3 years of tutoring experience as well in basic CS, Math, and Reading, and I work well...

Hello! My name is Syed Zeeshan, but you can call me Zeeshan. I am currently an undergraduate studying Communications and Media at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. I have more than 5 years of programming experience, as I went to a high school that specializes in computer and information sciences. I am proficient in intermediate Java and beginner Python, as well as beginner CSS and HTML. I have 3 years of tutoring experience as well in basic CS, Math, and Reading, and I work well with finding areas where students struggle and helping them overcome their obstacles.

Being a student who used to struggle in school, I understand the challenges and problem areas that children have very well and believe that I can best teach them how to improve both their study techniques as well as their grades.

I have been playing basketball all my life, but I became especially skilled in shooting and dribbling skills when I went to basketball camp during the summer of 2018. Here I did cardiovascular/strength training, in addition to NBA-level basketball drills and exercises to get my game to the next level.

I have over 5+ years of cooking experience and am extremely proficient in the basics. I have enough experience in the restaurant industry as well as in kitchens, and I am an excellent teacher when it comes to making basic household dishes.

After dabbling in all sorts of sports and physical activities, I have realized that I am a jack of all trades. I love many different kinds of sports such as basketball, baseball, cricket, soccer, cross country, tennis, etc, and I am skilled in these too. I am also a regular gym-rat who loves weightlifting and am currently on a fitness journey to gain a little bit of weight and increase my overall muscle mass.

I have been practicing taekwondo for over 6 years and have worked tirelessly on increasing my cardiovascular endurance, as well as my muscular strength. However, taekwondo has also taught me better discipline in the dojang, but also in the real world, and I have volunteered as a teacher/assistant instructor successfully in the past. I work well with students of all ages and am a clear and concise speaker.

I studied numerous yoga/strength and stretching techniques while I was taking courses for credit at the County College of Morris, and these are still techniques that I use today. Coupled with breathing exercises that I also learned, I was able to find effective ways to destress after a long day and also to relax my sore muscles after a long day out or after a tiresome workout.
