Hi I'm Kaitlin. I am a special ed. high school teacher who is highly qualified in math, english, and history. I have worked with students from age 5 to 18. I work with students with behavioral difficulties so I don't back down from a challenge and no challenge is too big!
I love working with students one on one and telling them achieve their best no matter what that is. My goal is to build success, confidence, and make a difference in your child's learning experience.
One of my highlight stories from tutoring is about a 5 year old little boy. When I started with him he barely knew his letters and numbers confused him. We worked together twice a week for 8 months. We did a half hour of the Wilson reading program and a half hour of math. By the end of the 8 months, he could a short book, knew his letters, knew his numbers, and could count to 100. This is why I tutor kids to help them learn, to build confidence in themselves, and to reach their full potential.
If you'd like to gain success, confidence, or learn more about me, e-mail me. Hi I'm Kaitlin. I am a special ed. high school teacher who is highly qualified in math, english, and history. I have worked with students from age 5 to 18. I work with students with
Kaitlin connected well with my 15-year old daughter. She admitted to studying up on quadratics to be sure she was ready for the session. Definitely helped her grasp this Algebra 1 topic better than previously.
My son really liked her way of teaching. She is a good teacher for math, science and special education. Thanks a lot.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
