In Perth Amboy, I taught catechism lessons to first and fourth graders. As a substitute, I also taught ESL and GED classes at the Adult School in Perth Amboy. In New York, I worked as a proofreader for Human Sciences Press which published scholarly journals. I also worked as a proofreader for the Dreyfus Corporation in Manhattan and as an editorial assistant for the magazine of the New York CPA Society. I presently work as a freelance correspondent at diocesan and national newspapers and I am a novelist.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
