About Paul

I have been tutoring Math since 1992 in my home country, Jamaica. I have been tutoring since 2000 in the USA. I first like to do a diagnostics test on grade lower than their present grade to find out what Math concepts are missing. I have a diagnostic book for such purpose. I also review home work and take students a notch higher in their current math topic .

I always give parents a feed back after the end of every sessions.By the way, I also tutor for a semester in the Math Lab at Passaic County Community College. I will also help students with home other than Math at no extra cost during our math session.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Algebra 1

This is very easy and simply for me to impart as i am very adept in Algebra 1. I have been helping students/adults even while in high school. A matter of fact, I self taught myself most of the topics before I started high school. I was even employed at a company while in high because of my math skills

Algebra 2

I excelled at this level also. Taught Algebra 2 At International High School from Oct - Jan 2011 as a Sub/Teacher for Grade 10 - 12.I am currently tutoring College student.
