Customized Math/Statistics Tutoring, Just For You!

Pleasure to find you here! My name is Kyle and I've been tutoring/teaching math and statistics at all levels for over 5 years. I graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Applied Mathematics and a Minor in Music at The College of New Jersey. On top of that, I've also received my M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Stevens Institute of Technology.

My journey started at The College of New Jersey's Tutoring Center, where I assisted students in College Algebra, all levels of Calculus, Statistics, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. I expanded this knowledge further during my Teaching Assistantship at Stevens, where I held recitations and workshops for first-year Calculus students. Simultaneously, I was also working at C2 Education, where I focused more on tutoring middle school and high school mathematics ranging from Pre-Algebra to Calculus BC. Most recently though, I taught Statistics 1 at Raritan Valley Community College as an Mathematics Adjunct Instructor. In all these positions, I documented where student improvements were made, and what areas needed more attention so I could cater a specific lesson to each of them.

In my experience tutoring, my students initially come to me either behind in their mathematical studies or needing to retake a course. Very often, I discover them trying to solve a problem one way only, and it's usually the textbook method. My goal is to help students realize "their way" of doing math. This is done by determining first how they learn, and then applying this to the subject at hand. We also analyze multiple ways of looking at the same problem, so the student can more easily search for "their way" and have more confidence in math.
