I am currently a teachers assistant in a private Kindergarten and love it! I have worked here for 4 and a half years and have previous child care experience before that. I thoroughly enjoy teaching my kids letter sounds and watching them learn to read! I also enjoy working on handwriting with them and doing science projects! I often find super cool art projects for my kids to do in the afternoon as well! I also am taking classes to have a minor in health education. I love to read and encourage it as much as possible. Knowledge is power and I strive to enhance that in my class every day!
I have taken many English classes at school such as World literature, British Literature and multiple composition classes. I also write lengthy papers in all of my classes so I'm pretty good at MLA and APA format.
I have taken a wide range of science, math and history classes while being in college. I also have learned quite a bit through my job in a kindergarten class.
I grade handwriting sheets every day of the week and constantly work on improving my students handwriting one letter at a time!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
