I use evidence-based practices within the framework of the Common Core Standards. I focus heavily on phonics, phonemic awareness, comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, writing and mathematical strategies.
I am experienced in helping students prepare for PARRC and Formative assessments by embedding specific curriculum tailored to their weaknesses, in an effort to continually move learning forward toward skill mastery.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
