I studied 5 years of a Bachelor in Science in Biology back in Colombia, and I specialized in zoology. I know about ecology, taxomomy, genetics, molecular and cell biology, and even botany, landscaping and farming. In that time I did a lot of field work and travel to a lot of places where I had to do direct animal management and collections, and I also know how to behave in a lab. So I can teach you how to do both.
Also, in my last year of university I did a semester of human anatomy and physiology in the Medicine Faculty of my university, because I'mdeeply interested in biological anthropology. And I had the opportunity to study with real human bodies in the amphitheater.
My first language is spanish. I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. All my childhood, teenager and young adulthood experiences I had live them in spanish. Beasides, I'm very passionate about reading and writing, and love to teach about grammar and orthography in spanish, and compare it to english.
My mom, a purely colombian mom, taught me how to dance since the day I was born. It is very common to dance salsa music in Colombia, we love it. And, I was part of the salsa and bachata dance team of my university for two years. We get to won a regional competition and were second place in the national competition. I also attend a professional dance academy for 6 months.
