I am currently a district literacy coach for a public K-12 school district with a background as an elementary and middle school Reading Specialist. I have an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master's in Education with specialization in Reading and Literacy, and a Bachelor's in English. I am a certified teacher and I tutor all age ranges from early elementary through high school and college. I can offer tutoring in all the following areas: test preparation, homework...

I am currently a district literacy coach for a public K-12 school district with a background as an elementary and middle school Reading Specialist. I have an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master's in Education with specialization in Reading and Literacy, and a Bachelor's in English. I am a certified teacher and I tutor all age ranges from early elementary through high school and college. I can offer tutoring in all the following areas: test preparation, homework help, diagnostic reading assessments, reading skills & strategy, comprehension, grammar and spelling, writing skills, standardized test prep, study skills and much more.
I can provide references if necessary. I will develop a plan that works for both you and I to get the most out of the time we meet. Our sessions can focus on specific school work or just specific skills in general where I bring all the materials. While I live in Gloucester county, I work in Burlington county and am willing to meet within reasonable distances between Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties in NJ. I'm also open to meeting online.
My rates are flexible. I consider not only the hour that we meet each session, but also the planning and preparation time involved. I have lots of materials and books that I use that are age and strategy appropriate.

Patient and very helpful

My daughter had her first session with her today, she found her to be very easy to work with. My daughter has dyslexia and she evaluated what her needs were in the first 20 minutes. After that they did some reading and discussed character traits. My daughter is looking forward to her next session with Savannah. Thank you.
