Italian was the first language I was taught as a child and it is the language primarily spoken with my family. I have worked in Italy and used my Italian language skills for business in the U.S. I keep up with Italian language and culture through various Italian cultural events, Italian media and I travel to Italy at least once a year. I am always in contact with family, friends and colleagues in Italy and, therefore, have much more to offer students than basic grammar rules.
I also have a life-long love for art. My areas of expertise include figure drawing, portraits, still life, landscapes, perspective, and acrylic painting in various styles.
