I am currently a high school teacher and have been private tutoring math, science, ACT/SAT math for over 7 years. I was a business major in college, while successfully completing pre-med requirements and graduating with 151 credits. Science courses include: biology 1 & 2. microbiology, biochemistry, chemistry 1 & 2, organic chemistry 1 & 2 as well as physics 1 & 2. Additionally, I have spent the last two years at a tutoring center teaching small groups of high school students Geometry and Algebra.
Most importantly, I enjoy empowering students to reach their potential. I believe that to be an excellent teacher you need passion, knowledge and the ability to inspire students to want to achieve. I am able to connect to students by using various creative methods, resources, and by personally engaging each student.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been private tutoring math for the past 5 years and I am confident in my ability to help your son or daughter improve his or her math grades.

I spent the last two summers teaching geometry to high school students at a learning center.
