Nicholas is a consultant, professor, Environmental Scientist, and GIS Specialist, who currently serves as executive director for The Nomad Group, LLC and has served as Adjunct Professor for multiple higher education institutions, currently at NJIT. His consulting firm has operated for nearly ten years, having been established in 2006. Environmental and Project Management consulting are his specialties.

Nicholas is an environmental professional with over a decade of experience in the environmental consulting industry.
Elements of his experience, both domestic and abroad include: project management; the design, development, implementation and collection of site field data; remedial investigations and activities; development and execution of Health & Safety work plans for various utility, construction and remediation site activities; Preliminary, Phase I & II Site Assessments/Investigations; wetland delineation, characterization and evaluation (soils, hydrology, and vegetation); assessment of development-related environmental impacts, mitigation, construction and restoration; various agency permit acquisition; threatened and endangered species studies; various local, state and federal regulatory compliance for environmental, chemical, and hazardous material requirements; government, utility, and public relations; due diligence and reporting; and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data projection and management.
He is also a certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) and holds various additional training certifications.
Nicholas serves as a Trustee for The Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions (ANJEC), a member of the New Jersey Section American Water Resources Association and of the South Orange Development Committee. He has also served as a volunteer biologist for The Great Swamp Watershed Association, The Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association, and The Florham Park Municipal Environmental Commission.
Specific project experience includes extensive time as an ecologist, GIS specialist, and planning and operations liaison on both the BP Deepwater Horizon MC252 Gulf Oil Spill Response and the ExxonMobil Silvertip Yellowstone River Oil Spill Response. He has also held the title of adjunct professor of Environmental Science and Geographic Information Systems at Seton Hall University, Rutgers University, and Passaic County Community College, and has career experience publications in 2010 and 2012.
