I have been working in motion graphics/design for over 15 years. I've worked with a variety of clients in a variety of genres. And more specifically, I've been working on a Mac since the Mac plus.
Although I have a design degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from the University of California at Berkeley, I continually learn new programs.
At this point in my life, I look forward to the idea of working with students and helping them get to the next level with whatever they are interested in learning. I personally like to learn in a one on one situation and would enjoy being on the other side of the equation. I have a lot of experience in the work force and know what clients are looking for, and would have a lot of knowledge when it comes to helping students to learn what they need to know for their future. I also have been working in Adobe After Effects for several years.
I have been working in Illustrator, design in general and Adobe After Effects (and Premiere to some extent) for several years as a motion designer.
I use Photoshop on a daily basis to prepare files for Editors and for After Effects.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
