About Gregory

I am a former adjunct professor of Political Science at Montclair State University and currently a PhD student at the University of Washington. I have three years of teaching experience at the university level and an additional seven years of experience teaching the GRE and the SAT (reading, writing, and math). I also specialize in reading and writing for students in the middle school and early high school years. Lastly, I spent two years teaching English in China and love to work with students for whom English is a second language (as it was for me when I moved to the US from Russia at the age of 8). I look forward to working with you and your families. Recommendations are provided upon request! Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
