In our sessions, I emphasize understanding patterns, breaking down dense passages, and learning the thought process behind arriving at the correct answer. With the right structure and approach, significant score improvement is achievable.
How the Coaching Process Works
Rather than offering open ended tutoring, I work with students through a structured improvement process designed to identify weaknesses, build strategy, and steadily improve scores.
Meeting 1 – Diagnostic and Game Plan
• Review MCAT history and diagnostic scores
• Identify highest impact weaknesses
• Build a daily, weekly, and monthly study plan
• Outline strategy for each section
Meeting 2 – Strategy Foundations
• Establish effective CARS habits and reading strategy
• Introduce passage approach and reasoning techniques
• Set up study tracking systems or spreadsheets if helpful
Meetings 3+ – Strengthening Performance
Sessions focus on targeted improvement such as:
• Science passage comprehension
• Data interpretation and experimental reasoning
• Process of elimination strategies
• CARS reasoning and timing
• Fixing remaining content gaps
Final Meeting – Test Day Strategy
• Review progress and remaining weak areas
• Test day pacing and timing strategy
• Mental preparation and exam day approach
(Session progression may vary slightly depending on each student’s timeline and needs.)
I also offer a free 15 minute consultation so we can briefly discuss your current preparation, timeline, and goals before scheduling a full session.
