Rutgers University (Journalism, English)
I am currently a Junior at Rutgers University. I love teaching and helping other students succeed academically. I am an English major and am incredibly proficient in literature and the English language. I have tutored before and my specialty is K-12 English, History and test preparation. Currently, I am a legal assistant at a law firm as well as a staff writer for The Odyssey. I have spent much of my college career working for my university's writing center and for student services.
My schedule is relatively flexible although I am a full time student. I am willing to meet as often as necessary in order to help you or your child succeed. Since my schedule is so flexible, I only request a one hour cancellation notice. I am patient, dedicated and driven and I truly believe that my services are valuable. Please contact me if you require tutoring services!
I have taken six college level philosophy classes and continue to study philosophy on my own time.
Currently, I am six credits away from completing my English major. I have spent my entire life following my passion for the English language. I work as a writer for The Odyssey therefore I have a great amount of strength in writing and proofreading.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
