Education has been something I have always been involved with. Having taught in the New Jersey System for a number of years has allowed me to gain insight as to the needs of various diverse populations in the state. I have taught on the post-secondary level also for a number of years. Most of the teaching has been to classes of prospective medical students and medical assisting professionals. But my endeavors are not limited only to this group. I have also designed, developed, administrated, and presented various lecture series to post doctorate physical therapists under the auspices of Middlesex County College and the New Jersey Board of Physical Therapy for continuing education credits. I have lectured to Occupational Therapists and students at Kean University, and have given continued education lectures to Pharmacists under the auspices of the New Jersey Pharmacy Board. I am a NJ State Certified Teacher of English and Social Studies
I taught human anatomy and physiology both lab and lecture at Middlesex College and various other institutions of higher learning.
I am a certified medical/chiropractic independent medical examiner and peer review specialist and have performed over two thousand examinations for various insurance companies in the State of New Jersey.
I have designed, developed, and presented courses for physical therapists, which are currently in use for the treatment of children with attention deficit disorder.
I have designed, developed, administrated, and presented over one hundred and fifty lectures on ergonomics, nutrition, and stress reduction. These have been presented to major corporations, universities, medical professional organizations, national organizations, and private citizen groups. Among them are the Exxon Corporation, Bayonne Police Force, and The American Jewish Congress.
I hold Diplomat status in the American Academy of Pain Management, such recognition obtained in 1991. This academy is interdisciplinary consisting of Medical Physicians, Chiropractic Physicians, and Osteopathic Physicians. I have extensive postdoctoral training in ergonomics, kinesiology, and nutrition given under the auspices of the State University of New York and the New York Chiropractic College. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
