Although I am capable of tutoring any subject through Elementary school In my twelve years of experience as a special needs counselor, substitute teacher, and teacher’s aide, my primary focus has always been English and Grammar.

I have twelve years of experience as a special needs counselor, substitute teacher, and teacher’s aide, working with children and adults with ADD, learning disabilities, PDD, autism, aspergers syndrome, downs syndrome and behavior issues. My primary responsibilities have been to help them develop concept awareness and abilities and skills relevant to productive, independent living.

I have 6 years of experience coaching tennis for both men’s and women’s teams. I have three more years of experience managing tennis programs for camps and in recreational settings.

One of my employers was a non-profit organization for young adults with developmental disabilities. I recruited and managed players for team and individual sports, including basketball, soccer, bowling, tennis and Special Olympics. Running the tennis program was a highlight of my job. I essentially built upon a fragile program and made it into a successful program where clients could compete in state sectionals and Special Olympics every season. Many of my players went on to medal, including my best player, who won gold medals each year during my 6 years of employment.

I usually go above and beyond what is required in a program. This is reflected in my references from prior employers.

I am currently available to instruct everyday from 9am to 9pm and I can travel to meet students. My base rate is $40/hour.
