I am a reading specialist with several years of experience helping students achieve success in the classroom setting. My belief is that all children want to learn and can learn in their own way. I gain satisfaction from seeing students build confidence in themselves as readers.
Additionally, I have been working with students on basic mathematics skills using a sensory-visual method which enables children with a learning disability to be able to do basic computations easily. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
