Hello!

My name is Bharathi K. I graduated from the University of Miami in 2014 with a BS in Architectural Engineering. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Math Education at Hunter.

My major had curricula with a heavy concentration of algebra, geometry, and classical mechanics, so I am very comfortable with tutoring students in those subjects. I currently teach Algebra 2 and Calculus.

My teaching style is focused on conceptually understanding the material than finishing a problem set. So, I really try to make my students feel independent and give them space to think for themselves. If a student needs extra assistance beyond the material provided in school, I am willing to assign additional practice problems or have extra sessions that are more focused on reviewing the material. I am patient and have consistently had good relationships with all of my students.

I extend WyzAnt's "Good Fit Guarantee" to all of my sessions. You will never be charged for any lesson that you are not completely satisfied with.

Additionally, I constantly check my phone and am more than happy to help with additional questions through text message and/or e-mail.

I look forward to working with you!
Bharathi

Statistics,

Statistics

I have tutored many students in Statistics. I know it can get overwhelming and confusing because there are a lot of terms and concepts to memorize. But they all build on each other and once you see the connections it becomes so much easier. I can help you find those connections and master statistics!

Smart, engaging tutor

Bharathi is an engaging tutor who has a sense of humor and makes math less complicated. I hired her to help my 11th grader who was struggling. When we interviewed Bharathi, the deciding factor was when she explained a math concept to my child, and my daughter actually understood it. And upon understanding, my child smiled. I was instantly impressed because I knew if this tutor could make my daughter smile about math in ten minutes she was the tutor for us.

Thorough and enthusiastic teacher

My 7th grader loves working with Bharathi, who has the gift to spark genuine interest in mathematics. She first makes sure my daughter has a deep understanding of the topics covered at school, and then goes beyond with higher level material. We are very happy overall.

Patient and Knowledgeable

Bharti was very patient and knowledgeable. She helped my daughter to understand the Geometry content in a clear way which helped with her confidence in the content area.

GREAT Tutor

MS Bharathi is a wonderful tutor who takes her time to explain the material. Often times she brings out the confidence in my daughter to approach the problem. She guides her along to resolve the problem without giving her the answer. I strongly recommend Ms Bharathi to any parent /student seeking an instructor to fine tune and build their child's understanding of math and to develop their aptitude and application for math thank you MS Bharathi

Responsive and Thorough

My daughter has been working with Bharathi for a couple of months. She is prompt, easy to contact and very thorough when going over the subject matter. My daughter has made good progress since working with Bharathi. I highly recommend her tutorial services.

Helpful Physics Lesson

My daughter stated that she learned more in these 1st 2 hours with her tutor than she has learned from her teacher since starting physics in September.

Very knowledgeable and patient.

Bharathi is currently assisting me with pre-calculus. We have only met once but that one lesson did wonders. I'm finally starting to understand something that seemed completely foreign to me. I can't wait for our next session.

She is good at taking care of student

She taught me math and I am happy with her way of tutoring. She will teach me all other subjects include fundamental engineering.
