Hi Everyone!

My name is Samii, and I am what I like to call a "Professional Student". After graduating High School in 2010, I began my college journey that is still continuing today. I began my college career at Ocean County College, where I took American Sign Language in my first semester, where I fell in love with the class, and the program. I did my first three years at Ocean County College where I graduated with a 3.6 GPA and my A.A.S in American Sign Language Interpreting. After my degree was competed from OCC, I went on to Stockton University, where I only ended up going for one semester, and I just wasn't happy with my time there. In Spring 2014, I transferred to Kean University to pursue my B.A. in Psychology. In Summer 2014, I went back to OCC to take a few more classes to obtain my A.A in General Studies with a concentration in Humanities. I graduated from Kean in 2015, with a 3.96 GPA. Still hungry for knowledge, I began to look into Occupational Therapy programs. I took a class here and a class there, but I was dealing with my mom's health, and I was unable to apply for an OT Program. Due to my work experience, I was able to broaden my horizons, and begin looking into other degree programs. In 2016, I started my M.S. in Human Resource Management at Thomas Edison State University. I completed my M.S. with a 4.0 GPA in 2017. Then in 2018, I decided to return to school once again, this time at Western Governors University, to obtain my Master's in Business Administration. I love learning, and I love to share my knowledge and wisdom. I have tutored at a private level before, and I hope I can help you achieve your educational goals like I have achieved mine!

Before graduating from Ocean County College, I was appointed President of Our Sign Language Club, where I organized many events for students to interact with the deaf community, and raised money for organizations such as the Deaf Blind League of NJ. I received my A.A.S in American Sign Language Interpreting from Ocean County College in 2013, and I have been working as a staff interpreter, freelance interpreter, and tutor ever since.

Please feel free to contact me at any time about my background or experience. I am always willing to discuss it further. If you are interested in scheduling tutoring lessons with me, please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience. I look forward to working with you.

I have grown with the Microsoft Office Suite through my whole life, including PowerPoint. The importance of computers in education began when I was in school. Slowly from my middle school years into my high school years, most of our assignments became computerized. Once I reached college, all of my work was completed either online, or typed and printed. I have eight years of experience in college working with the Microsoft Office Suite, and 6 years as an office professional that utilized Microsoft Office everyday, and also provides training on the Office Suite to colleagues, and people with disabilities.
