I am a highly qualified teacher with 30+ years of experience. I have graduated Summa cum Laude from several different universities: Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland (MA), Moscow University, Russia (MA), Kean University, NJ (four teaching certificates). My areas of expertise are: English as a Second Language, Linguistics, Reading/Writing/Math Strats. (K-12), Foreign Languages (Russian, Polish).
I have been teaching at the Linden Public Schools system, at both: elementary and high school levels, for the past 25 years. I am a highly skilled, passionate, and devoted teacher; founder and advisor of two clubs and a Foreign Language NHS at LHS, member of several professional organizations: ACTR, ACTFL, FLENJ, NJTESOL-BE, AASTEEL.
I enjoy traveling for the purpose of discovering certain aspects of foreign languages and learning about different cultures, customs, and traditions. My true passion, however, is teaching! I enjoy working with students of different age (K-12 and above). I truly believe that working one-on-one or in a small group setting is the most satisfying form of teaching for me due to the ability of being able to see immediate results.
Please give me a call if you are interested in improving your English reading and writing skills, learn perfect English grammar, or start studying another fascinating language (Russian, Polish).

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
