Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I have worked as a lawyer for the past 30+ years and am now looking to give back. Previously, I have taught law classes, a Roman History class, designed and taught government contracting at the College level, and have been a substitute teacher in the public school system. My family has a long history of working in the education field. My parents were both educators and tutors in their spare time. Currently, my daughter is a special education teacher in NYC. Each of them has inspired me to help others learn how to make learning a lifetime pursuit. Teaching is giving-knowledge of subjects and techniques on how to acquire more.

I graduated high school early to attend the University of Michigan, where I earned a B.A. in History, at the summa cum laude level. I moved to New York City and graduated from law school in 1982. In law school, I was the primary research assistant to the Honorable Excellency Dr. Minasse Haile, Minister of Foreign Affairs, (Ret.) for the Government of Ethiopia. I received a commendation from the United States Army for work in connection with the Patriot Missile Systems project, among other achievements. I have traveled the world studying, living and working - including being part of an academic mission for the Egypt - Israel Peace Treaty.

I look forward to learning together.
