Attending Rutgers University (PhD)
I am a PhD student currently at Rutgers University studying Molecular Biosciences. I have been a tutor at William Paterson University through out my whole undergraduate career. I taught variety of subjects ranging from basic biology and chemistry to higher level science courses such as molecular biology, organic chemistry, microbiology, etc.
I love teaching science and being a professor is one of the main reasons why I am pursuing a PhD degree. I enjoy working with students and love to see their progress as they start loving science more (because, once you understand science who wouldn't love science!?). I am specialized in biology and chemistry courses, but I can also tutor algebra and trigonometry.
I received highest GPA in Mathematics award for all four years of High School. Mathematics has always been one of my favorite subjects and I enjoy teaching it.
I am a Biology major and received highest GPA award for graduating student from the Biology Department. I have tutored science courses throughout my undergraduate career and would love to continue tutoring it.
I will work with students at their pace and in a manner that is comfortable to them. I will challenge students but not overwhelm them with too much work. If interested, feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you and help you reach you maximum potential. I am a PhD student currently at Rutgers University studying Molecular Biosciences. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
