About Timothy

I am a researcher, writer, and student with an extensive background in survey research, public policy, and social science.

I conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis for a diverse set of sponsors; including state and federal agencies, non-profits, the private sector, and academia.

I have excellent written and verbal skills and am able to simultaneously manage multiple projects. My research areas include, but are not limited to, health, education, urban issues, and social policy.

I have published peer reviewed articles, presented research at conferences, and actively participate in professional organizations such as the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and the Association of Academic Survey Research Organizations (AASRO).

Additionally, as adjunct professor, I teach an online section of Introduction to Planning, Public Policy, and Health Policy which has a typical enrollment of about 45 students per semester. I have a Master's Degree in the discipline.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Political Science

I have a Master's Degree in Public Policy and Sociology and was a TA throughout my coursework. I TA'ed for research and other topics. Additionally, much of the material I would need as a tutor was covered further during my PhD studies in planning and public policy.
