Centenary College (Liberal Arts)
I have always had a passion for working with students. I have many years of experience through babysitting, volunteering and soccer coaching. Throughout my many years of babysitting, I have helped with homework and studying. I am also a substitute teacher, where I am able to teach elementary and middle school students new content, and assist them with previously taught content. I recently graduated from Centenary College with a Liberal Arts degree, and am certified in Elementary (K-6) and Teachers of Students with Disabilities. I love working with students of all ages and abilities. What I love about tutoring is working one on one with a student. Working one on one allows me to really get to know my student. I love being a teacher and support system for that student, and the feeling of helping them achieve their goals is indescribable.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a recently graduated, certified teacher in Elementary K-6 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities. I believe in hands on learning and relating the information to students' lives so that they understand the value of it. I have many resources I can use to help your daughter improve her math skills.
